The Brief One of our key customer has contact us to design a system that allows measurements from thousands of individuals in real time. The information are sent on a remote dashboard ready for statistical analysis. This customer needed a full solution (Hardware, Firmware, APP and server development). We are proud to say that we established a fantastic relation with this customer over the years.
The Solution The way we approached this project was by designing a BLE Bluetooth logger of the size of a coin, with battery life a month (or more). We also developed an app for iPhone and Android that retrieve the datalogger's data and send on an remote (Internet) server. The server (developed from us as well), accepts REST call from the phone and allows the customer to retrieve the information and to see the information as well in real time.

The Solution Neutronix designed the hardware in time and budget. The NC1701 evaluation board was born and is one of the most advanced kit that works virtually on any modern cars in Europe and USA.
The Brief: Neutronix's client urgently needed to design a breakthrough diagnostic tool for the automotive industry. The design difficulties were to keep the price down. Despite the small form, this diagnostic tools offer capabilities second to none. 2 High Speed CAN BUS, 2 Low Speed CAN BUS, Bluetooth, BLE, 5 Single wire port, and low power.
The Solution: Neutronix redesigned the original solution in a way to pass all the legislative directives to get the CE approval. The Design was done in a short time and it works very well. Since this design, Neutronix has done many more designs for this client which gives Neutronix the development for all the new electronic platforms. The Brief Neutronix's client had problems passing all the EMC tests required to have the CE certification. The client has already tried the EMC test 4 times before contacting us. On the last attempt they asked an EMC house to recommend a designing house that could solve their problems and they suggested us.
The Solution Neutronix has a good understanding of EMI and EMC. We investigated the nature of failure and after an analysis of their design, we identified the flaw. We made all the necessary changes in the electronics and we also made the layout for the final product. We then assembled 5 prototypes and repeat the EMC test, which this time passed. We work very closely with a EMC Testing House called ETS EMC and over the year we managed to solve with them EMC issues to many customers.
Obsolete Chip redesign
One of our customer use an embedded protocol that was supported by just one IC manufacturer. When the manufacturer decide to close the production our customer bought a large number of these ICs, but eventually after few years the stock ended.
Neutronix redesigned all the functionality of this chip into an FPGA. We also designed an embedded linux board (of the size of a phone) that drives the FPGA. Our solution has passed CE first time and is now ready to go to market.
